Needle Felted Owl

When I write on this blog I always wonder who will read it.  I have to believe somebody will stop by and yay -- here you are! Welcome and thank-you.  Ever since my niece talked me into joining facebook it seems the blog has fallen off my list of priorities.  Another one of my old haunts was Ebay .

The other day my sister and I were reminiscing those days gone by and it blew on the embers that were dying  so to speak, which sparked me into creating a listing.  Trying to see if I can get back into the swing again. Then, as one thing leads to another the listing led me to make this new blog entry and voila!

Now... the creation I came up with to auction on ebay is my own artwork. Yes, every poke and stitch is mine. However, I must confess that I once saw the idea on someone else's page and when I saw it I was so inspired I just had to sit right down and make one too.   I did it my own way of course the best way that I could.

In the end I think that Miss Bumbles of ETSY does a way better job. Her little creations are far superior to my own.  This is Ollie Owl. He's such a sweetie!

Mother Mary

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy!
Our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished
children of Eve, to thee do we send
up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this valley, of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us; and
after this our exile show unto us the
blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus;
O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the
promises of Christ.

was because His Mother requested it.

Having Mother Mary in our corner is always a good thing.

It's my blog and I'll cry if I want to.....

These are my Rosary beads that don't get used as much as they should.
My Aunt Mary asked me to try and pray at least one decade a day.
That's not very much to ask.
Is it?
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
